Exhibitions and Showcases
End of Unit Celebrations
At aLphabet, each unit concludes with a showcase of learning, where students share their discoveries through displays, models, demonstrations, performances, and presentations. Learners connect ideas across subjects, explain their thinking, and reflect on the questions and challenges that shaped their inquiry.
These showcases celebrate both the process and the outcome, building confidence and appreciation for different perspectives.
Student-Led Conferences deepen this ownership. Guided by teachers, students lead conversations with their parents, using selected work to celebrate progress, identify areas for growth, and set personal goals.
Together, these experiences nurture communication, reflection, and self-awareness while encouraging greater responsibility for learning. They strengthen the partnership between home and school, giving families insight into their child’s development through the learner’s own voice and making learning visible and meaningful for the wider school community.

PYP Exhibition (PYPx)
The PYP Exhibition is the culminating experience for PYP5 students, bringing together the knowledge, conceptual understanding, skills, and learner profile attributes developed throughout the Primary Years Programme.
At aLphabet, students choose a United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) that resonates with them and explore a related real-world issue through a transdisciplinary theme. They take ownership of the inquiry by formulating questions, conducting research, analysing information, considering different perspectives, and identifying opportunities for meaningful action. Working collaboratively, with guidance from teachers and mentors, they develop and communicate their understanding.
Students share their findings with the school community through presentations, models, displays, and creative demonstrations. The exhibition celebrates both their discoveries and the process behind them: the decisions they have made, the challenges they have navigated, and the ways their thinking has evolved.
As a culminating assessment, PYPx provides an opportunity for students to demonstrate their learning with increasing independence. It builds confidence, responsibility, and a sense of purpose, preparing them for the Middle Years Programme while affirming their capacity to inquire, collaborate, and contribute to the world around them.
Global Goals, Local Action
Students connect with a UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), transforming a global issue into a personal mission.
Student-Led Inquiry
Learners take full ownership, from formulating questions and conducting research to presenting their unique findings.
Meaningful Action
The project encourages students to move beyond theory and take tangible steps to make a positive impact.

The Exhibition Experience
Students present their findings to the entire school community through a variety of creative formats—from interactive displays and models to presentations and performances. This is their platform to share their journey, advocate for their cause, and inspire others.
