Admission Policy

aLphabet international is dedicated to developing compassionate and young life-long learners in a stimulating environment of academic excellence. We strive to instil values of mutual respect, honesty, empathy, and open-mindedness. With tolerance, our learners will become humane and knowledgeable citizens of the world, understanding various cultures thus promoting unity.

Admission Criteria

  1. Prospective students are required to meet the school’s policy regarding eligibility for admission.
  2. The criteria for enrolment into all grades shall be based not only on age, but also on school records, academic achievements & grade level completion.
  3. The child should meet the requisite age requirement for the program as on 31st of May of the academic year in which the parent is applying (Know more).
  4. Admission into grades Mom & Me to Explorers (LKG), will be based on the student and parent interaction with the Head of School at aLphabet international school.
  5. Students who are 4.6 years as on 31st of May and upwards (Learners/UKG to Grade X) will be required to complete an admissions test. All written tests will take place at aLphabet international school.
  6. The IB programme defines inclusion as an ongoing process that aims to increase access and engagement in learning for all students by identifying and removing barriers. aLphabet international celebrates and cherishes diversity among its’ community. We ensure that the school environment is one characterized by a culture of collaboration, mutual respect, support & problem solving. As set forth by the IB guidelines & our school inclusion policy, we support access for students with special needs to the IB programme(s) and philosophy. We will evaluate and then accept admissions for students with special needs to the extent possible, according to the available school resources.

Admission Process

Given below is the process for admission into aLphabet international school. Our admissions team is happy to help with any questions you may have, to help make the experience as smooth and efficient as possible.

Step 1

Please submit the online application form along with the required documents.
By applying, parents agree to their application being considered. The application fee is INR 2500.

Note:
  1. The application fee is non-refundable, irrespective of selection of the student or not.
  2. Incomplete forms will not be accepted.
  3. Please state N/A in the space given if a particular question does not apply to you.

Step 2

Upon review of the online application form, a member of our administrative team will contact you.

Step 3

At this stage, students seeking admission into:

  • Mom & Me to Explorers (LKG), are required to complete a student & parent campus visit and a meeting with the Head of School.
  • Learners (UKG) to Grade X, will have an interview scheduled for the student and parents with the Head of School.

Step 4

Students seeking admission into Learners (UKG) to Grade X, will then complete an admissions test.

Step 5

On passing the admissions test, the student will be asked to spend a day at school to interact with teachers and students.

Step 6

On completion of the above steps, a provisional letter of admission will be sent to the Parents/Guardian. On receipt of the letter you will be required to pay the fees and submit original transfer certificate to the school office within a stipulated period.

Enrolment at aLphabet international school

  1. aLphabet international school has certain criteria in place for enrolment into all grades – meeting age requirements, school records, academic achievements & grade level completion. There may be cases where at the time of enrolment, a student is already in a certain grade at his/her previous school but does not meet the specified age criteria at aLphabet. In such situations, the student’s grade level will be determined based on the entrance exam results.
  2. Students enrolled at aLphabet international school must participate in all extra-curricular activities. Exceptions will be made only on medical grounds.
  3. Admission in all cases is contingent upon determining that the student will be able to meet the school’s academic standards.
  4. English is the primary language of instruction and communication at aLphabet international School. aLphabet offers English as a Second Language (ESL). In order to ensure the success of students in a demanding academic environment, parents will work with the school in a supportive capacity to ensure the English Language acquisition.
