A child’s first and foremost teacher is the parent. A strong parenting and social foundation in the early years is vital for development. Our Mom & Me sessions focus on creating a special bond between parent and child by providing a stimulating and engaging environment. Our teachers design structured activities through which the child can play and explore in the comfortable presence of a parent. Social, cognitive, gross and motor skills are nurtured through Music, Dance, Yoga, Sand-play, Splash-pool, Eurythmics, Storytime, Books, Puzzles, Artwork & Movement. Music helps the brain process new sounds while babies and toddlers love exploring the colors and textures during Art work time, using a variety of mediums. Parents will forever cherish the catchy songs that they learn together with their little ones. We encourage gym time before the start of the session to help develop the child’s coordination and gross motor skills. This also provides ample opportunity for movement and interaction.

Toddlers

Age: 18 months – 30 months
Campus: St. Mary’s Road
Days: Monday – Friday
Timings: 9:00 am – 10:30 am
             10:45 am – 12:15 pm

The Toddler program is designed to wean the child off their parent and foster a sense of independence and routine. As a parent-free environment can be unfamiliar, our teachers establish a level of comfort with the children enabling them to adapt to their peers and surroundings. Learning through play is the main approach used and the introduction of basics of numerals, literacy, phonics, yoga, music, dance and story sessions are a key component of the program.

Discoverers

Age: 2.6 years – 3.6 years
Campus: St. Mary’s Road
Days: Monday – Friday
Timings: 8:30 am – 11:00 am
              11:15 am – 1:45 pm

The Discoverers program is a child’s formal introduction into the IB curriculum. Here, we focus on creating hands-on experiences through fun and play. The curriculum is designed considering the transdisciplinary theme, around which all learning and inquiry for the term is centered. Children are taught pre-writing, literacy & vocabulary building, phonic skills and numeracy. Specialists who are also IB certified, engage the children in Music & Movement as part of the program. Starting with the Discoverers program, certain shared agreements are carefully drawn up on establishing a respectful and welcoming culture in the classroom.
