Explorers

Age: 3.6 years – 4.6 years

Days: Monday – Friday
Timings: 8:30 am – 12:30 pm

The Explorers program which is equivalent to Lower Kindergarten (LKG) focuses on building writing and reading skills, number concepts, and science through experiments. Various concepts pertaining to the transdisciplinary theme are explored. Interesting and thought-provoking activities including field trips are carried out which fall in line with the Unit of Inquiry. Jolly phonics, a fun and child-centered approach is used to build on lower and upper-case letters. Numeracy is integrated using numbers, shapes and concepts. Specialists come in for Basketball and Dance.

Our teachers aim at cultivating and promoting initiative, interest, creativity and overall learning by encouraging children to voice their opinions and extend their thinking and actions.

Learners

Timings: 8:30 am – 1:15 pm

The Learners program is the equivalent to Upper Kindergarten (UKG). As a step up from the Explorers, this module strengthens the writing and reading skills of the students. After assessing the childrens prior knowledge, we work with them to improve their potential through mental mathematics, recitation and science through experiments. Formation of sentences are enhanced to encourage higher levels of speaking.
Specialists engage the children in basketball, music and dance.
